Product Reviews ‘Jaguar XJ Series Saloons’ Mark Sutherland

This gorgeous publication by Mark Sutherland, of Jaguar Drivers Club fame is very humbly bound with two cover images by Noel Skeats and a muted colour scheme, with the only hint of what is to come, being a foreword by the incredible Quentin Willson.

This book covers the history and development of the Jaguar XJ series 1,2 & 3 Saloon in detail, and even alludes to the last XJ models to roll off the production line, and what may be yet to come in Jaguars Reimagine journey.

Mark’s knowledge of the Jaguar XJ shines through on every page of this book, even tracking down the original invoice for the sale of the oldest Jaguar test car in existence after testing had been completed.

The book is not only an accurate historical publication about the Jaguar XJ, but a very good read too. It is well written, and despite being laden with information it is an easy read, and contains sumptuous images throughout the 96 pages.

We believe this book is a superb addition to any Jaguar drivers bookshelf and is a book you will be tempted to revisit on a regular basis, reminding yourself of the history and exclusivity that comes with owning a Jaguar.
