One of our team members found an opportunity to put the Versitray through it’s paces with the fitment of a supercharger, and here is what he had to say:
“When I was originally asked to review the Versitray i was unsure whether it’s the sort of thing I would actually use. Being a bit old school when working on a car I have come to know very well that I tend to throw all the nuts and bolts in a bucket. So normally any sort of engine bay storage trays seem a bit pointless but was determined to give it a go.
As expected very few nuts and bolts made their way into the Versitray.
However, what I did find it incredibly useful for was keeping track of the 10mm socket and just about every other tool required for a supercharger change.
I found the Versitray flexible and grippy enough for it to sit happily on the cam cover without slipping around, but also sturdy enough to hold a large selection of sockets, ratchets, extensions, and spanners required for quite a big job.
The Versitray now lives next to my top box, and I see myself using it a lot. Would highly recommend it”
